Hardware to run crysis on all high is overrated, put a 8800gts in your computer for ~220$ and your set. Assuming you have sufficient ram and such. Cheaper than buying a 360, with twice the performance.

What about to where you couldn't tell people in a video game apart from people in reality?

I guess at some point someone starts forcing game-makers to make less realistic graphics on violent games. Though I still don't think violent games cause violent behavior, I do believe at some point the moral issue grows too big. Is it okay to shoot someone in game, if the person looks like a real person?

I could propably handle it and even get perversed joy out of it, but alot of people couldn't. What happens when graphics reach the same level as real world looks - that's something we'll see in the future.

By the way, amen to Pinkfairie, can't wait for the porn. ^___^ (oh, think about a game with Misa Campo )

When the saw movies are still pulling in 30+ million dollars in the opening weekend, i dont think anyone will have a problem with some video game violence if we're still allowing torture porn movies.

I think its extremely sad that none of the video games are up to par with movie violence, I'd love to get my stomache turned everytime I play an fps like watching jigsaw tear apart humans for the first time.

On a series like Grant Theft Auto I can see that becoming a larger issue. On games like a series like Resident Evil I can see that becoming an overhyped issue (IRL a zombie walking towards you would justify the killing of it). On a series like Gran Turismo I see only benefits to realism XD.

In any case, I also thought the water was off a bit.
