Chat and log function isn't working on l4d2 servers.
No game icon on l4d2 servers.

"Failed to bind to port" appearing when you try to launch SourceAdminTool.exe twice.

Same general problems as in HLSW.

Its 10 seconds i believe but yes intended.

Doesnt make sense really. Make sure you click get log and follow the bellow.

The common issues are, Not authed, wrong ip when the log command is run, firewall blocking the port.

Must be 15?

Check pictures. Nothing ever appears in chat tab, I typed hi in chat tab and it only appeard in rcon tab. Nothing ever appears in log tab. And in the rcon tab I only get console respond when I send a command to the server.

These are the exact same problems as I faced in HLSW when their chat and log function stopped working.

As noted, the issue with that isn't exclusive to this app, but that HLSW had similar issues. The reason is that the Source logging protocol is not firewall/NAT friendly. UPnP is attempted to be used to automatically open a port, but not all routers support it, or you may not have it enabled. You can still manually forward a port.

A local firewall (including a default Windows Firewall configuration) would also contributing to blocking the incoming log data.

The chat tab relies on log data being successfully retrieved.

Ok, I have now enabled TCP and UDP on public+private in the windows firewall. Console output now shows up under the log tab but it is still not getting player chat for me.
Ideas?
