I know this is maybe not the perfect place to post
but Ill do it anyway P
I have a lill problem with easymod..
I installed it on my forum, but now I moved my forum database to another forum and easymod dissapeared

the problem is that I cant reinstall it cause it says that it still excists
I already deleted the sql table in phpmyadmin and the full map containing easymod.. any solutions how to delete easymod without using php?

You could try using the installation script backwards manually.

JGHG.. I have something that might be usefull to all people that use phpbb
but who dont have their prefix to phpbb_
I had the same problem because I had to backup my forum a while ago
and so my prefix was phpbb2_

this is what I did (maybe its obvious for most of you bu maybe not

)

I opened the forummod.sma file with notepad
then I selected the replace option (its under edit)

and I just replaced phpbb_ with phpbb2_

recompiled the plugin and.. IT WORKED

maybe this is tolld before in this post but I was to lazy to look trough all the 13 pages

hmm sorry to double post but I found another "bug" or is my own fault?

anyway my text totaly dissapeard in counter-strike..
why somebody types somethin you get

1% 2%:

the nick is changed to 1% 2 % and the messages doesnt show up

any solutions?

When compiling forummod.sma I get these errors :

then I can compile it with no errors. When uploading the compiled forummod.amxx forummod won't work, the AMXModX logs keeps saying :

The forum has been modified succesfully, the plugin has access to the database, but it just won't work. Does any of you have an idea of what I can do to solve this ?

yeah I had the same with amx 1.01
so I used the 1.0 compiled..
still some errrors but it worked fine for me then..

Found out that 1.01 does not contain the fakemeta_stocks.inc file. It would've saved me a lot of trouble if this was mentioned in the starting post and/or in the instructions in forummod.sma (or did I miss something ?). Though I get the exact same errors when compiling with 1.0, so the problem remains...

edit : a friend of mine changed the code a little so the PM function can be left out after all. I added it to my post since it might be of use for some (and maybe JGHG is interested).
