yes it is set to 0. and i just tested sm_ban, which works and adds instantly to sourcebans page. just for some reason this plugin doesnt =/. is there a certain SM plugin that needs to be enabled maybe? currently we use mani for admin so no SM plugins are active in the plugins folder except ones like SB and this plugin.

Aff.. try rcon to use ban command, it will executed command from server input.

rcon sm_ban #userid 10 Test

Then look again from SB page will it appears ??

It looks like the Socket extension wasn't able to open a socket for some reason. I'm not sure what could cause this.

yes that worked, and still showed up instantly on sourcebans page banned by CONSOLE

so i checked the vacbans.phrases.txt and it was 0kb.. filezilla shines once again ;p so do you think that was the problem? i've re-uploaded the file

Yeah that would do it. The plugin will stop if the language file isn't right.

damn... it's still not adding to sourcebans! lol! and there are zero errors in the error log. i've reloaded plugins, restarted server, etc..

sm log shows stuff like:
L 09/24/2011 - 18:59:58: [vacbans.smx] "Frantic<405><STEAM_0:0:6477841><>" banned due to a previous VAC violation.
L 09/24/2011 - 19:29:54: [vacbans.smx] "Electronic_Pimp<501><STEAM_0:1:20016502> <>" banned due to a previous VAC violation.

but they aren't added to sourcebans sorry for the hassle

Sorry to gravedig a little but this is the same problem I am having... no errors and the vac log file is perfectly showing people being banned but it just does not show up in sourcebans.
