That's a big misconception. KAC does not ban for cfg files or anything in them. Because it is impossible to change the cvars KAC is setup to look at without 3rd party cheats.

@YouzAMenace, those people aren't cheating really. Its due to KAC blocking ent_fire which ZombieMod is relying on to do certain tasks. I'll have a better way of blocking the vulnerabilities with that command in the next update without breaking most mods like CSS:RPG or ZombieMod.
yea i didnt think they were. Ive removed it from our zm server for now.

At a moments notice, KAC1.1.8 went to hell on our server. Nothing of any of our plugins or config files have changed, but now, anytime a human player connects, after about 5 to 10 seconds, the whole server crashes, leaving me with no logfile to look at.
I even tried to strip the server from ALL plugins except metamod source and sourcemod themselves, with KAC1.1.8 as the only SM plugin. Crashes as well.
Server support said, there hasn't been any valve updates. Does the nosockets version connect to anywhere outside a server? Master KAC server down? Whatever.

Does KAC everything that zBlock4.2 is able to do? (zBlock 4.2 includes DoS protection now)

No Sockets version doesn't connect outside the server. As far as the crashing something must have been installed or changed to cause a conflict. As far as KAC comparing to zBlock, zBlock is entirely different and aimed for league servers as it covers a lot of cvars that leagues don't like changed.

As far as DoS protection KAC in SourceMod cannot offer it as there is no way for KAC to intercept every packet that comes into the server.

There is a stand-alone plugin to exclusively fix the DoS attack problem.

I went on few empty servers to check if I could lag them, the answer is yes ... I got banned by sourceban I think after 3 Minutes of flooding timeleft command, but not sure cause it was a russian server. And I found one server that banned me for using too much commands per seconds, but this server was running mani admin, any clue where I can find that ? I really need to fix this timeleft exploit on my server that can't be KaC protected (cause of gravity, fun mods ..)

When KAC were still running on my server, I could change gravity at will, while KAC didn't make any problems.

Look your logs, I'm not saying I can't change the gravity, i'm saying that can will randomly ban player cause they don't have the default gravity.
