Quick Rant:
For all of you who are experiencing issues with tank spawning issues, it's not a problem with mi123654's L4D VS Infected Bot plugin. My guess is that most of you who are experiencing these issues are using Super Versus. There's a bug with Super Versus and you should consult with that thread. I don't use Super Versus for that exact reason. The rest of you have a weird combo of plugins causing your issues. You should make sure your plugins don't clash; where one plugin says 1 tank and another plugin says no tanks. You should make the plugins compliment each other, like 1 plugins says 1 tank and another plugin says add extra tank and extra tank hp.

In regards to THIS plugin:
The plugin (1.7.4) seems to be working fine, except on the first map after reboot or hibernation, during the first round, not all the infected bots spawn. I think it's because the plugin doesn't get fully loaded until the map change.

Also, a while I back I had problems with the max team changes. I don't know what happened, but the issue fixed itself after several reboots. It's actually at 9999, which isn't what I set it to, but hey, whatever, it works.

Is there a way you can randomize the spawn order for the infected? Boomers and Smokers always spawn back to back, which makes it seem like they're spawning all the time. For example, if there are 8 people on infected in a server, with 3 smokers, 2 boomers, 2 hunters, and 1 dead infected, if 1 boomer dies, the next person waiting to spawn will be a boomer. If they have only 3 seconds left to spawn, it will seem like it only took 3 seconds for another boomer to spawn. I think a good way around this problem would be to create a function to test a minimum wait time before another boomer or smoker spawn. I thought I saw one section of code refer to this, but it doesn't seem to be working. I bring this up, because 2 boomers spawning within 5 seconds of each other doesn't make a lot of sense, especially if all the survivors get puked on from 1 boomer. I don't see this problem as much with smokers, but I see it alot with boomers on my server.

I don't have any of those folders. The only steamapps i on left 4 dead/steam/
inside there is a ''sourcemode'' folder. It's not like you said, or do i have to create those folders?

Hey!!! the metamod works!!!!
I search and i edit the file gameinfo on left 4 dead folder like this

SearchPaths
{
GameBin |gameinfo_path|addons/metamod/bin
Game |gameinfo_path|.
Game left4dead
Game hl2

I started the game and type meta on the console like you said and it worked!!
Now I'm trying the plugin. And see if it works too.

it works perfect!!!
I don't know why, but by doing that chage to gameinfo i could make it work.
I'm going to try those commands next because they spawned so fast and all in front of the survivors.

Plugin that allows more than 8 to play (versus) and more than 4 (coop/survival) when combined with Left4Downtown. If you don't know about it, you probably don't have it. Personally I haven't had problems with Super Versus and Tank spawns.

The vdf method is the safest. If you use the gameinfo method, be sure to check that its still intact after every update that steam does to l4d

Does anyone knows how yo solve the problem with the safe room beeing locked all the time? I remember that also happened to me before installing the plugin. If someone has the answer to this please i'd really like it
