I have found the bug.
If i have one model where the .vmt and .vtf files are in the GCF and 3 models where the .vmt and .vtf files are not in the GCF.
Then the model where the .vmt and .vtf are in the GCF dont get dowladed and dont work

Umm, of course not.
If the vmt and vtf are in the GCF, they MUST be the same path and file name as the ones outside the gcf for them to be confused as the same one.

If they are in different folders, then they are downloaded as usual.

Fantastic idea--however, either add the ability to choose the random models that will be chosen or take out the silly ones from the hostage pack. I don't like the Simpsons or bikini models to be forced. Different themed hostage packs would probably work well so admins could choose the hostage content. Nice job, though.

I'm a fan of this plug-in indeed, it's just a pity there aren't more cs-themed hostage packs that aren't just the current hosties in different clothes, or characters who don't fit in with the game (Korin etc). Be great if we could get some of the more "generic" extras from HL2 to be hosties. I'd volunteer, but I can't skin a knee never mind a model ;)

Also I've noticed the blood decal problem I posted about above seems to be a flaw in many hostage packs, strange.

If i shoot one the hostage arm the hostage gets not hurt

Umm, you can add and remove whichever ones you want from the packs :\

- Added new cvar hosti_nodupes to only use each model once per map.

Yeah-- I could do that myself (Duh!). Maybe I should leave the Simpsons model in for me.

Here is possibly another dumb question. I install Hostitron and just install the new HL2 (girl) pack that has the two female models. Will the default game models (the usual stock guys) also be used to fill in the rest of the models in 4-hostage maps or will your models just repeat (two Alyx, etc.) Basically will stock models also rotate in with the rest of the custom models in Hostitron enabled servers if you don't have enough custom models?

If hosti_nodupes is 1, on a map with four models you will have two custom and two regular.

If you disable hosti_nodupes, then it will be four models, possibly three or four of the same. Its random.
