I use this plugin "off" by default.

 
in server.cfg

sm_advertisements_enabled "0"

To enable it on some maps i use an extra map.cfg (cstrike/maps/cfg)

in map_1.cfg

sm_advertisements_enabled "1"
sm_advertisements_file "file_1.txt"
sm_advertisements_interval "120"

in map_2.cfg
 
 sm_advertisements_enabled "1"
 sm_advertisements_file "file_2.txt"
 sm_advertisements_interval "40"

I would like to use some different "advertisements_files" and "advertisements_intervals" on each map.
But if i do this in this way as i discribed above I got an error message:

Nevertheless the plugin seems to work but I believe this error is not indended by the author.

However a really nice plugin.

I have an issue with some of the advertisements on the top left being too long, and they cut off. This happens to the high end users when they up their video settings. is there a way to make the top left area utilize a longer line to be able to see the full advertizement?

Hi,
New to the allied forums. Have a ? hope this is the right place to post if not let me know. Ok im using the advertisement 0.5.5 plugin. The problem i am having it spams the messages i have in the text file. From what i read where i downloaded it from it supposed to be 30 seconds default but its spams everything message i put in there like 1 second. I will post the text file how i have it on the server but will take out our clan info so i dont advertise our clan info here. Any help would be great.

what is your sm_advertisements_interval cvar set to? by default it is 30 seconds... btw, you should update to the 0.6.1 version

Thanks for the advice i have it set to default 30 but it runs the messages like every 1-2 seconds. I looked on the allied site i dont see the upgrade plugin just the 0.5.5 could you leave a link for the download for the newer plugin.

u have an extra {at the end tho doubt its important
i have 055 and runs at the right interval, u sure the cvar isnt in 2 places? check the value directly on server
