The idea we are fighting, is similiar to the thoughts of good and evil, we thinking we are the good and thinking that we are fighting 'the evil' in Iraq.
I fully support setting up a Democracy, but this certainly isn't the way to do it. I hope that the next president whether its Obama or Clinton, I hope they pull our troops out and save our remaining forces. No one deserves this war, and no one (in my opinion) is going to win in the end.
I just don't think we should be over there in the first place.

Not when we have our own problems over here.

Why are we fighting other peoples battles when we have our own to fight.

'Belief is a beautiful armor,
but makes for the heaviest sword,
like punching under water,
you never can hit who your trying for,
some need the exhibition
and some have to know they tried,
it's the chemical weapon
for the war thats raging
on inside'

Give me 3, just 3 reasons why you think I am nieve... I am not just like "Oooh war, lets go fight!"

I have done my fair share of research, I have seen the arguements from each opinion on what we should do. And I feel that this would have been over years ago if Bill Clinton (everyone gasp), would have gone an taken out the different terror cells under Obama Bin Laden (Joke on the name), when the attack the world trade center the 1st time back in '92.

And kitty, I am glad that you think that peace and all the crap is good, but if every country in the world were to destroy all guns, missles, and bombs... Well, there would be a country or 2 that didn't want to play along and go and start attack everyone unarmed.

It is better to have a gun and not need to use it then, to not have one and be in a life or death situtation.

I never said that guns were completely a bad thing.
I just hate violence in general.

They are the right thing, in the right hands.

I just don't think they should be used unless you feel you NEED them. In a life or death situation.

This war is just I don't know I feel like its pointless right now.

No one has given me a logical explanation for why we are even in war. Other than its just an idea we're fighting for.

We arn't fighting but there are people there coming home dead and for what?

We don't even have a REASON.

I'm not saying they are dying for nothing,

Obviously something is going on over there,

but when they say war,

there should always be a reason for it.

There are a few major "possibilities".

Most people who hate bush or are from a different country say we are there for the oil.

Then it is we are fighting the Al kaida terror group.

And the the most basic fact that after we basically finished off the afgans and those linked to attack the world trade center, we moved on to a dictator next door that has slain millions upon millions of his own people and millions of people from other countries. And now we are still just finishing the job that way we are not attacked by any more terror groups for a long time, as well as establishing a democracy THE PEOPLE WANT in a coutry that still needs some one to hold their hand.

You choose your reason that you like.

Something tells me not all the people in Iraq appreciate what we are doing. And what we are doing isn't all that nice...

No.... There WERE many people who wanted to be "liberated", now they're regretting it. They don't want America in there.

allenwr, why do you want to join the navy so much?

That's the reason you are nief man! Stop it. How come do you have such good faith on US goverment? Let me show you what the US marines have been fighting.

MAYBE THESE ARE NOT PRETTY TO SHOW BUT I SUPPOSE WE ARE MATURE ENOUGH TO EVALUATE

in the first place US oil companys are stealing out of Irak a million oil barrels a day. None of that money is for Irak reconstruction! And if you dont know. MORE PEOPLE HAVE DIED SINCE US GOT IN THEN BEFORE WITH HUSSEIN!!!

About Afganistan. Who the hell do you think armed and trained al-queda?
Who financed them? US! After that they sended people like you to fight Afganis on the excuse on terror. Meanwhile Uzbekistan a country filled with oil right next side to Afganistan were doing bissness with US companys! But were is Ozama? This is not about fighting evil. This is about money. All about the fucking money!

i VIVIDLY advise you to whatch 9/11 documentary from Michael Moore.

And I strongly advise to stop thinking in fighting wars when you don't know who is really the bad guy!

Juda_PornBorn1: Those images are not appropriate at all... we all know what's going on, I'd rather not have to see it every time I scroll down. Also, your argument will make a stronger point if you use correct spelling.

Better see those images than stumble over these bodies!
For some people such pictures are reality and they see such secenes nearly every day.
And i think his spelling is appropriate..it's all about the fcking money

I have seen allot of movies where the people in Irak burned american flags because they don't want that america steals their oil, controls their nation and destroys their culture.
(Have heard, that americans destroy their Culture and Monuments...just for FUN...)

Now me as an outstanding people have not that clear information about whats realy going on, but it is very impressive that on TV you only see news where people in irak hugs american soldiers...and in some other sources(i can't remember where i saw this) you see the contrary movies...
This let me think of controlled media...controlled by the Governments and the major industrial enterprises.

Hope anyone can post some sources where to find such movies...

PS: war sucks!
