Ok im completly stuck on the small scripting variables part i looked up as much as i could on them and nothing really helped. What i want to know is what do they do how are they going to help me and how will i know what the correct variable is??? Plz somebody help !

well in small they don't have a definite data type.. Well in a sence they do but not how you think. They are more like variants.

And you use them to store data you are using.

So basically its used to store information? i thought they were used to like set a max number of ppl or set hp or whatnot. Still im confused on why u need to use them.

ill be honest, i still dont really understand WTF a variable is. I researched it and no one can really give a good explanation. I dont know where to use them in the scripts and why. I guess i have to wait to take small next year in highschool because its totally blowing my mind.

A variable is just memory that is allocated to store information.
Thats all there is to it really. No more no less. You use them to store data.

I wouldn't call him hopeless after all some people take a longer time learning that others.

Just give him some time and help him if you can. At least thats what I'll do.

well thats what i thought they did. like stored a line or something but i wasnt sure. And dont tell me u got this stuff as soon as u started learning it v3x.
