Sorry but I'm kinda noob to all this.

I have a question and maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

I have a 32 slot TF2 server, and I'm looking for a plugin or something that will enable or disable plugins at map change depending on the map. The server is already running a few plugins and some of which dont lend themselves well to different maps.

example: I'm running the RMF Abilities plugin and RTD, but if for some reason we want to change to a sniper map, I'd like to turn those plugins off and limit the slots to like 12. This would almost sound like a map config or something. If it is a map config, how would I go about writing it so it turned off the unwanted plugins and limits the slots?

Or is there a way to write a simple "snipermap.cfg" that could be added to the sm_admin/server commands/menu that I could exec from there to accomplish what I'm trying to do? Or is there a way to add the plugins to that menu to be disabled or enabled?

Also.. If I'm in game and want to run or disable RMF for example, how can I do this? Right now, the plugin runs all the time..

I'm sorry this is such noob stuff, but I'm trying to learn. Please bare with me.

Thanks

Some plugins have a cvar to enable/disable, you would have to read the plugins description to find it though.

Otherwise you need to unload plugins you don't want. i.e. sm plugins unload plugin.smx . Keep in mind every time the map changes sm will reload all plugins, so you have to unload it every map, or lock plugin loading with sm plugins load_lock .

So yes, you only need to make .cfg files, you can either use one of the many plugins relating to execing configs on certain maps, or do it manually as you suggested.
