I've experimented with removing various entities and adding a tf_logic_arena, but I still can't get a non-arena map (e.g. Dustbowl, Hydro etc. - maps too big to serve as downloads) into arena mode.

Is this even possible without an extension/MMS plugin?

P.S. This is for a PropHunt/HideNSeek mod I made for TF2 which relies on arena mode, but there aren't enough big arena maps

I'm not 100% certain on this but I think that the SourceMod 1.3 beta/test version/whatever might have what you need (logical/server-side entity support, correct me if I'm wrong)

If you're using the SM 1.3 thing (There will probably be more stuff about it when it's released, again I'm not 100% certain on any of this, but I hope it helps)

I recommend decompiling the map, so you can change the map to arena in hammer, not with sourcemod.

But then you lose area portals and occluders, which are pretty much essential in the large maps I'm hoping to use.

I'll look into those SM 1.3 commands

Does tf_logic_arena count as a logic entity in SM 1.3? Because it doesn't seem to have made any difference :<

Yeah I'll have a try with Stripper:Source and, failing that, I'll just write an MM:S plugin.

Thread conclusion: Stripper works.
