If amx_restrict is enabled it restrticts the autobuy menu as well. Is there a way to enable the autobuy menu and still allow for weapon restrictions? Specifically the AWP.

I looked in the CVS just last night, I see that JGHG has updated the amx_restmenu.amx plugin as it is (the .sma file)

So check out the plugins on the CVS, try that version, just compile the SMA and use it, that might help.

Thanks to JGHG I use it now

EDIT

Basically everything you said JGHG fixed in the CVS ..

There is the direct link

No problem, I like to check the CVS for updated base plugins now and then, happen JGHG updated restmenu.sma about a day before you posted here.

I tried to use this, but there was no change at our server.
Do I have to alter something?
Auto/re-buy is still restricted...

What I did: I copied the new restmenu.sma over the old one and restarted the server.
No change...

What did I do wrong???

You have to compile the plugin that is linked to the CVS

meaning if you are using windows (I dont relaly know linux very well.)

place the restmenu.sma into the scripting folder, then double click on the "compile" thing, then the new compiled version will be in the folder called "compiled" then place the compiled restmenu.amx from the compiled folder and move it into the plugins folder. bam you have updated plugin.

more info on the doc
