LIMITED OFFER - Buy nvgoggles now and you'll get *FREE BONUSES*
- this first quality OIL which you can use on old squeaky doors to shut them up for good!
- a couple of finely crafted pliers which you can use to silently remove grates (and with a little of your imagination, maybe other stuff as well!)

Use: Just buy nvgoggles.
Then walk up to a squeaky door, point at it, and hold use button for five (default) seconds. It should do the trick.
The door will be completely silent for the rest of the round.
It works the same way with grates. They will be silently removed when the progress bar is filled up.

Why nvgoggles? you ask.
Reason 1. Why not?
Reason 2. No one ever buys nvgoggles.
Reason 3. I don't have to implement a lot of new stuff and commands and bla bla bla. This plugin was made in a minute.

Well, I got the idea from some random guy on cs_militia who said something that he wanted to shut those squeaky old doors up.

0.2 up

Quote:
0.2 050201 Added progress bar. Time of the oiling process is default at five seconds. Tweakable through the new cvar "oiltime".

In previous version, when you pressed the use button in front of a door you actually emitted this small "beep" sound, likely noticable by players with good hearing.
This is removed, so the oiling process should now be completely silent.

Are you sure you uploaded the new version? The one I keep downloading is .1, and it doesnt have your quote in the .sma. I went ahead and compiled it, and it works the same as .1, I still get the beep and no progress bar.

Also, can you make something similar that would remove vent grates without having to smash them and make all that noise?

Oups sorry I must've attached the wrong file. 0.2 is there now.

Good idea. Something similar could be made. The tradeoff could be a progress bar also like with the doors for time, and maybe something like the nvgs also for cost.

Really neat. Too bad I cant get it...for some reason it keeps saying :Sorry, this plugin failed to compile!
You should try notifying the author so they can fix this.

Really odd...
