He is talking about the fact that they want to get rid of the command because of all the fakefull redirect servers (the servers that look like they have players in them but all they really do is redirect to another server) not because of the intention of your redirect plugin. These servers cause their server stats to be skewed, the ones that show them how many players and servers there are out there running mods.

If I remember correctly source does not have this command for this very reason, valve did not want to allow servers to redirect clients especially to avoid the fake servers.

ok, makes sense. i hate such servers too. but on the TF2 side valve seems to have a smarter attempt to solve such issues, so i doubt that it really has something to do with these redirect farms. also the sloppy implementation and the missing statement in any news makes me think of an unfinished "feature" that slipped into the update when it shouldn't already.

a very small issue i am having is my 8th server not showing all its characters. i did change the sma. to allow 12 servers and i have 12 servers in my servers.ini
they all work great except server #8 on the list?

here is what my list used to look like!
#1 -[.40 cal ]- BEGINNERS! (map)[clients]
#2 -[.40 cal ]- INTERMEDIATE! (map)[clients]
#3 -[.40 cal ]- DIABLO 8.0! (map)[clients]
#4 -[.40 cal ]- GUNGAME! (map)[clients]
#5 -[.40 cal ]- ZOMBIE PLAGUE! (map)[clients]
#6 -[.40 cal ]- DEATHMATCH! (map)[clients]
#7 -[.40 cal ]- WARCRAFT3! (map)[clients]
#8 -[.40 cal ]- SCRIM SERVER (map)[clients]

but for some reason server #8 is cut off? it still redirects but the menu is cut off?
