I've looked at a lot of statistics models and really no matter what, the more often you play, the higher ranked you are likely to be. If you have any suggestions though I would be happy to hear them.

I've just changed the webstats on my website. I've got the points per minute to be the skill indicator. Isn't this a nice skill indicator? Or do i overlook something?

If you play a short game, you would like to compare your skill against other players as well... So then this points per minutes would be nice. Maybe this could be an extra config property?

This application might help you a bit in doing your local population csv files.

Programmed using Microsoft VS2008 .NET 2.0 C#. Both bin and src included. Copy (simply by painting the table data rows in your web browser) and paste it to the application textbox from http://www.citypopulation.de.

Shouldn't be too hard to use IMO.

I decided to also change the mapnames, so it would be:


Apartment
Subway
Sewers
Interior
Rooftop

I changed the 'row['name']' in the maps.php and campaign.php to
ucfirst(str_replace('_', '', strrchr($row['name'], '_'))) I though this would look nicer..?


BTW, when do you think 1.2.0 will be released? Do you allready have a date in mind?

I am pretty sure I said I was going to add that as an option for the webstats.

Yeah I guess it looks nicer. Personally I don't care. I can add that to the webstats also if you really want.

No I don't have a date for 1.2.0. Like I said it is in live beta over at F7Lans if you want to check it out, otherwise just sit and wait like everyone else.

Oke I think I missed this comment then.

And is there a possibility to get more stats about the weapons player uses? So for example the next information about every weapon per player: number of bullets used, number of bullets where hits, kills
And then it's possible to also add some specific awards to this, (favorite weapon etc )

Just thinking here with you..

At some point I do want to add in weapon specific data, but right now it's not top priority.

I've since removed the error logs after updating sourcemod to 1.2.1 and fixing the problem, but the error literally said "l4d_stats.smx could not be loaded, requires sourcemod v1.2.1 or higher". I run a standard sourcemod installation plus this stats plugin and the advertisments plugin (non sql version) for 3 L4D servers on linux (forked). The error only appeared after updating the server with the DLC update*, at which point I updated to 1.2.1 as the error suggested and it started working again. The only other change I can think of was the addition of the mp_gamemode cvar that was added to the 3 forks. I didn't think to reinstall sourcemod (I'm completly new to running a HLDS, let alone sourcemod or any of it's plugins) but perhaps I should have done that first. If I get time, I'll see about doing that and if the error returns I'll be sure to get you the log. Maybe something else was at fault but preventing stats from loading which produced the error?

*It may have been the second update after the DLC update. The 3 servers in question are relatively private and used by less than 100 people in total, so they get no where near as much traffic as most servers. One of the users noticed a couple of days after the DLC that stats were no longer being updated at which time I went looking for error logs.
