I need to catch player spawn using fakemeta, so I was trying this:
PHP Code:
public plugin_init()

register_forward(FM_Spawn,"fw_PostSpawn",1)

public
fw_PostSpawn(id)
{
    if(!
is_user_connected(id))
        return;

// do stuff

But it's never get called O_o.. why? And maybe there is event or logevent do detect player spawn post?

Man There is only Ham's playerSpawn event and I wrote above, that I need to catch it using fakemeta.. Also I don't want to use resetHud event it's kind of buggy..

Either you use ResetHUD with all filters (will correctly catch spawn), either you use Ham_Spawn (better).

FM_Spawn is not a good forward to use. The best forward that we have arround is Ham_Spawn. The safest, the easiest and the fastest(when we talk about efficency)

@ot_207: As Connor said above you, it's not that it's not efficient, but it doesn't hook players spawning.

Why don't you want to use HamSandwich? It's used everywhere nowadays.
