Hello everyone,

Is there a way to bind admin chat (sm_chat) to some key? I'm using y and u for normal and team chat, but I'd like to set a letter n for admin chat.

I've tried bind "n" "messagemode sm_chat" but it doesn't work. It seems like there's no command messagemode in CS:Source.

From what I am aware of, you have to use normal chat (y) and put a @ in front of what you want to appear as admin.

use team chat, and the @ for admin, and whatever you say will be done with sm_chat.

like press y, "@ message" - admin message to all.
press u, "@ message" - admin message to admins.

Thanks. That will do the trick for now.

Too bad there's no "one button" solution. In AMX mod (1.6) you could type bind "p" "messagemode amx_chat" and it would work.
