Nobody should be pointing fingers saying that any one group is correct or incorrect. However, the GOP requesting more tax cuts is ridiculous, as that is just going to cause more problems, and the only way to restart an economy is to actually spend money inside of the economy and create jobs.
Obama made the right moves, as the spending is directed at creating jobs, not at eliminating taxes from an already bankrupt government. I am not seeing where you are saying that Obama was incorrect in anything that he has done so far. In fact, in terms of economists eyes, this spending bill very well might NOT be big enough. What was cut should have been in the bill in the first place in order to create more jobs. Do some economic research before you call the game over, a spending bill would have to be put into play regardless of who won, and frankly if Paul won, we would be screwed by his economic policies. The states are basically bankrupt, and at this point big government HAS to step in so that the economy doesn't completely collapse.
And furthermore, we at least have a president that comes forth and talks to the people and has press conferences and doesnt hide behind the desk when shit gets real. I voted for him, and I am proud of what he has done so far, as he is doing what he and his advisers think should be done.
Finally, at least he has the balls to admit fault when he screws up. It's a breath of fresh air to see a president go and say, "I made a mistake."
At this point, party politics have to be thrown out the window. The past 15 years have been capitalized by party politics...and at this point, we cant have them if we want to have an actual legitimate chance at coming out of this on top.
