I did get it to run finally. Must have been a bug on the old sourcemod. I got the 2528 build and just moved over the plugins that I was using that wernt erroring. Then I loaded it up now the sm_admin shows in the actual game interface instead of just in console. As well as all other plugins show on the interface.

Sorry to post that here I thought it was just because of your mod.

Glad you got it sorted - I didn't see your earlier post until just now. L4D plugins require a SourceMod "snapshot", at least version 1.2, I'm using 2500 on my server but I don't think it matters which build you use as long as it's 1.2+

Can anyone who has tested 1.0.0.4c posted above tell me whether or not me padding the HUD down by two lines is much of an improvement or not? (I don't really like how it looks because it still draws the HUD background for the two padded lines, but I can't control precisely where the HUD (menu) is displayed on the screen - but if people say its better I'll go with it)

I haven't been able to test it out on a full server where multiple Infected players are doing damage at the same time so I don't know whether it still draws the HUD over this information or not...

It kinda looks worse because you can see more of the gray area at the top and it will still overlap...It really sucks that you are limited on what you can do with it. If the SDK was release, could you do whatever you want with it?

It depends on what control the SDK gives you really, but I imagine it will be possible to make a much better solution with it. Having said that it probably wouldn't be a SourceMod, I'm not sure what it would be until I actually see how the SDK works to be honest.

I loved the mod and it was great. Shame it didn't come out earlier.

Latest release notes from Valve:

Added HUD elements to show status of other infected players

Druzel,

There was me and about 15 others who all had the same problem. When I posted on this fourm there was only 1 page to it.

I go to work an come home and its 4 pages long. They also released more snapshots to 2530. Baliopan or something like that said it was because the other sourcemods were buggy. They were causing the SDKtools plugin not to work. Funny I ended up getting the hud to work just not some of the other ones.

Keep up the great work I love it.

Not to critisize but if you are a hunger, an you are wailing on someone, the dmg multiplier (the normal one from l4d) his concealed by the hud.

Hell I can live with it though shit for what you did im happy as hell. Its not that important. You sounded like you were looking for truthful input though so I gave it to ya.

I am currently running 1680x1050 on a 22incher. FYI hope it helps. great great plugin one of the best I downloaded from here.

A new L4D update just occurred and claims to have added a hud to help see other infected status, so this might be of no more use.
