In my opinion, there isn't a bug. It just seems like it. If you pay attention closely, you can not shoot the weapon (if you fast switch) right away. There is about a 1 second delay. When this happens, it take just as long as when you put the silencer on or took it off.

Well, Valve thought it was a bug (since they changed it in CS:S), but your point makes sense.

Yet another great plugin from connor. I'm yet to find a plugin he wrote that wasn't useful, and well written. Thanks again. +k

Well, that's your point and server administrators are free to install this, or not.
For information, the delay you are talking about is 3.0sec for usp and 2.0 for m4a1, and i remove it when i remove the bug.
Last thing, if you set the silencer on or off, switch weapon, then you can use another weapon while the silencer is being put on or off, so it can really be considered as an exploit.

@danielkza
Thanks, but first attempt to fix the bug was by NumB.

First of all, this version FTW. Good code by connorr as always.

Second: even though time wasn't spared by exploiting this bug, it still adds a bit more realism. We all know, that if you start putting on a silencer to your weapon, and half way through put it in your backpack, it doesn't magically screw the rest itself.

Yes, I am not trying to bad mouth your plugin or say it is a terrible idea. I am just saying what I thought. Good plugin none the less. Keep up the good work.

Too.... much... private data.... feeling... dizzy...

The day I'll be as near as good as you at coding will either:
1) Never come.
2) Be one of the happiest days of my life.

+karma just because I'm jealous(I don't even use the plugins this forum offers).

Nice plugin

Only one inconvenience:
- USP (unsilenced) > sec. attack > fast-switch > (STILL UNSILENCED)
- USP (silenced) > sec. attack > fast-switch > (STILL SILENCED)
- M4a1 (unsilenced) > sec. attack > fast-switch > (STILL UNSILENCED)
- M4a1 (silenced) > sec. attack > fast-switch > (UNSILENCED)

- USP (unsilenced) > sec. attack > drop wpn > pick wpn > (STILL UNSILENCED)
- USP (silenced) > sec. attack > drop wpn > pick wpn > (STILL SILENCED)
- M4a1 (unsilenced) > sec. attack > drop wpn > pick wpn > (STILL UNSILENCED)
- M4a1 (silenced) > sec. attack > drop wpn > pick wpn > (UNSILENCED)

BTW: I like the code (method) you choosed
