I posted in insurgency forums and someone tells me I need to install metamod first then sourcemod. Is this true?

Also: can someone put these in english for me.

My insurgency server is on my D:Insurgency folder

Where do i put the mod files?
How do i get the server to read the new configs?
I really have no clue.

thanks in advance.
1. Yes

2. They are already in English.

3. Just unzip the download packages to your mod folder (the folder with the mapcycle.txt file in it)

4. SourceMod will automatically exec it's own config file.

Thanks for your help, But im still lost. heres my progress.

My server is named insurgency. My files are in D:Insurgency folder.

Inside this folder I then went to the D:Insurgency\Insurgency folder that contains my mapcycle.txt file like you said. Here I put the source mod and extracted it.

I had to change the name of the original cfg folder because I didnt want to overwrite. From Here I tried to start my server and I get a message

console initialized
Game.dll loaded for "Insurgency"
maxplayers set to 2
couldn't exec valve.rc
Network: IP ........., mode MP, dedicated Yes, Ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL

I never added the metamod. is this neccessary?
where do I go to name the server now?
