It doesn't seem to work properly. I'm using the 2400 snapshot of sourcemod for windows, and the plugin will load without error but it seems to bug sv_cheats on the server. The server console will say sv_cheats is turned on, when in game it says it's turned off. But if I write it in console then in game all cheat commands are unrestricted. I'm running this on a dedicated server on my computer if that helps you any.

Is there a specific sourcemod snapshot you can recommend?

The latest version of sourcemod should just work fine...
Is the extension correctly loaded ? (This handles impulses)
What game are you running ? And what commands did you try ? Are you admin on the server ?

It's a dedicated server installed on my computer. The extension seems to have loaded fine. I've deleted absolutely everything and am running just the most recent snapshot of source mod with cheat-control as the only non-vanilla sourcemod plugin. The server thinks that sv_cheats is 1 while clients, when they type sv_cheats in console it tells them that it is 0 when this plugin is running. If you manually set sv_cheats 1 with RCON or whatever, then clients will think it's sv_cheats 1 but no commands are restricted to non-admins.

I'm using the right version source mod and matamod works perfect, I'm using with left4dead and it wont load the playerhooks, so i even manually copied playerhooks.ext to the extensions folder, and then it just doesn't load the level when i join the server?? am I doing something wrong?

Im having the same issues as sugleris, if i dont copy the playerhook file to the extention folder root from the "auto.2.ep2" folder it wont load saying its missing, if i do copy it the server crashes when a player connects.



The Plugin sounds brilliant, and will solve all my problems... if its suitable for "left 4 dead" any way...

I tried "admincheat" and that wouldn't strip the cheat flags on those commands i wanted to use.

You can't use this extension with left4dead yet anyway, because the offsets for it are missing, maybe I'm gonna add them later.

This plugin doesn't seem to be working on my TF2 server. Sorry to bump.

I'm running a windows TF2 server, added everything properly and set all the values but it doesn't work. I set it to strip the sv_cheats notify and it won't, when cheats is on, it won't let the admins use the commands(I obviously have the root flag, so it should work). I was using it so admins could wireframe possible wallhackers without anyone knowing, but it hates me.

Care to help?

I don't know what is happening here... I tried to get the plugin... it fails to compile.
Even the rar files give me problems on XP, went to delete them...un-deletable file problem. Changed the name of the folder above the zips ...deleted ok.

Pity... this is a good idea

The plugin works for me, but I'm having problems with it causing server crashes. I'm running a synergy dedicated server, using a clean install of sourcemod 1.1 (though also tested with 1.2.0-hg2541) for win. On syn_takeover, with this plugin installed a bunch of combine get spawned near your own spawn point, when you kill them the server crashes. syn_canal_escape_part1 crashes the server before it even loads. Ditto with various other maps. Without this plugin installed all maps work as they should. Anyone help?

Can anyone confirm that this works with left 4 dead linux server??people were able to spam pipeboms and fire on my server and respawn in...so im kinda confused right now..

Game:Left 4 Dead
Using Sourcemod 1.2
metamod 1.7
Linux server

all i did was extract the folders to my desktop and place it in my sourcemod folder and merged all the folders, was there anything i missed?

oh oh...i just saw the post on top , lmao im a idiot woo hoo, so its not supported huh? yeah that would be great to have on my server, i would love u long time if u intergrated that into l4d, u should check out my server, it would be so much nicer if that stuff could work so i dont gotta worry about cheats when im running custom.cfgs to make it play out diffrently.
