Insurgency Chat

Insurgency handles chat different than most other Source mods, which causes problems with most SourceMod plugins that hook payer chat. This is a simple plugin that attempts to provide a workaround to this by converting the chat into the standard format so plugins will recognize it. It also logs the chat to the server logs, which is useful for admins to find problem players (especially those who use HLSW to monitor the server).

Console Variables

• inschat_logging - Toggle logging of chat (0: off, 1: on, default: 1)

• Unexpected behavior when used with plugins that already support Insurgency

The plugin has been updated to work with team chat. It also hides chat that starts with @ (change the define if you use another symbol) so admin messages aren't seen by the wrong people.

Fantastic, just what we needed.

`Any chance you can do the reverse, so players can see what console says.
We use hlsw alot and would be useful to warn etc through console chat.

I didn't realize Zombie Panic had the same problem. You might want to rename the teams if you use the logging. I'll look into adding support for different games.

Sure. I added that feature to 1.3.

no need for this plugin for INS anymore since the lastest steam update to Insurgency has implemented support for say commands
