Are you sure its not another file it want and you puted in same dir and you can see full extension?

You need a compiler for 1.18
If you have puted the tempdata.dat at C:\Program\Superhero creator\
then its probably seted on your computer you cant see the extensions and then it is automaticly named tempdata.dat.txt check that else i cant get what you do wrong
