Valve finally care about 10 year old game. But will Amx Mod x work with it ?

I noticed these changes:
Quote:
Steam-Names and Avatars are now added to the Playerlist (TAB)
the game is a bit "darker"....wired....when i copyed my old config.cfg it was normal again...
Somehow it feels like 1.5 again...
Crosshair is smaller
Many more little little things i dont know about......yet.
If you dont got the game:

Quote:
You need to have the original 1.6
Close Steam
Delete Clientregistry.blob
Start Steam
click on this: steam://install/150

*EDIT*

Here is actual changelog: ( so far )
Quote:
Integrated Steam Community features into Counter-Strike

* In-game player name now automatically uses player's Steam Community name
* Avatars are displayed on the scoreboard

Other fixes

* Prevented some cvar exploits (thanks to AnAkIn for pointing them out)

It's not much different, but it's a little better.

This new CS game runs off of the HL2 engine now, not sure if that is a good thing for the game or not
