Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone else is having these problems. I just set up sourcemod on all of my servers. All map voting (end of map votes, admin started votes, and rtv votes) seems to have problems. In dods and css, the server does not switch to the map that won the vote.

Im just curious if I did something wrong..

If you're using the default sourcemod, try using a snapshot version, or maybe just the mapchooser from the snapshot.

If you're using a snapshop, try using the version from the default.

If neither works..

mapchooser may be out of wack, find my mapchooser thread, find the bug report, and I think there are a couple sp files in there you can try compiling and running.

If one works, tell the devs so they can commit it to trunk.

Are you using SM with any other server mod? Something like Mani?

They should really just remove the DL link to TF2 Mani since its causing probems, a lot.

Hello, thanks for the suggestions;

I do not have mani running. I was using default, didn't work. Went to snapshot, doesn't work. I should note, this problem is only present on my css and dods servers. All is well on my TF2 servers...

Does anyone know if there are plans to rework the map voting system (mapchooser?)?

Ive been searching around the forums looking for solutions to my problem, all I have been seeing is a lot of people with similar problems, not to many victorious solutions. Map voting is an integral part of any admin plugin I would think and it appears this one is having some widespread issues.

Is is possible the problem is with nextmap.smx? Anyone know how I could narrow it down?

Hey guys,

So, I went ahead and complete reinstalled the servers that were having the problems. Mapchooser is working now, but it's not working as I would expect. I was hoping someone could tell me if this is how it's supose to work.

Currently, it's just taking the same set number of maps for each vote, basically going down the list. So, the vote lists are always the same and the maps are always in the same order. There seems to be no step to randomize the maps chosen to be displayed in the vote at all.
