this simply changed the game name description just like how some tf2 servers have "TFTrue" and "SourceOP"

tested and works on tf2 and css...

if you wish not to use it dont use it, it seemed unfair to me how SourceOp, PwnShop, tftrue changed their servers...

Yes, but thats because their servers were quite different, if its just a regular TF2 server or CSS then this would probably hurt it. Plus, it will just make Valve fix it faster.

when you say "Valve fix it" you do know that means never right? anyways if you don't like this don't use it, if the SourceMod feels that this ain't right then thats another story.

Hi,

this plugin could be fantastic for insurgency. there is a bug which some servers have where the game descriptor is shown as the map mode (e.g. battle, firefight or push) rather than the actual game (Insurgency) so this would be great for me.

unfortunately it doesnt quite work in INsurgency. if comes up as <failed> when I do sm plugins list and the error logs show:

L 05/18/2008 - 07:52:39: [SM] Unable to load extension "hooker.ext.so": Extension version is too new to load (4, max is 3)
L 05/18/2008 - 07:52:39: [SM] Unable to load plugin "GameNameDescriptionChanger.smx": Required extension "Hooker Extension" file("hooker.ext") not running

any chance you could look into this?
