I think I've explained this problem 3 times in this thread. It's probably in the first post, too. I'll explain it again anyways.

In order to see the new model, you must do two things:

1. Change the model in your server computer's directory.
2. Change the model in your client computer's directory.

You see the old model because you have not done step 2. Your client has a file called "wall.mdl" so it does not download the new one; it believes it has the correct "wall.mdl". There is no reason for it to download it again, even though the "wall.mdl" on your server is different than your "wall.mdl" on the client.

The easy solution:
Rename the "wall.mdl" in your server's directory to "wall2.mdl". That's it! Problem solved.

The difficult, impractical, and probably impossible solution:
Find out who downloaded the original "wall.mdl" from your server, and tell each of those people to delete the "wall.mdl" from their directories, including yourself. Now, since they are missing the file called "wall.mdl", they will download the new one.

Is there a way to view/edit/remove the sprites you currently have placed on the map via in-game commands? Two people have FTP access, and they are rarely on.

Our server community uses this plugin and a renegade admin added several unwanted sprites that we need to remove on a map-by-map basis.

Ever since I created this plugin I've been thinking about doing that. I'll give it a shot, so keep an eye out for updates in the next week.

@OvK.BioHazarD

I've added the functionality you wanted. Read the first post for details on the new command.

@ESTCOBS

I'm having trouble adding these commands. I haven't given up yet, but I don't think it's worth the effort to add this functionality. If you hold the +place_ad key and aim with your mouse you can place ads very precisely.

hi there
thx for this amazing plugin its so awesome
but as always i do have a problem ^^
even if i fix the sprite i m having one that rotates why?
oh btw i dunno if it's a bug or not i m just reoprting.
if i place .spr file in sprites folder so i would need to change
the directory to spritess/..spr right? (in the precachelist)
even if i do that my cs crashes. i see downloadscreen then cs crashes.
it just works when i put my sprite to models directory and change the directory to models/...spr
but i have seen that at the first site of this topic that
there stays:
sprites/stupok69.spr
so how i said dunno if it's a bug or if jsut i do have this prob
even if its a prob its not a strict one ^^

I've addressed your first problem probably 5-10 times in this thread. Here's the short solution: rename the sprite, problem solved.

As for CS crashing when you change a directory from models/name.spr to sprites/name.spr, that doesn't make sense to me. Maybe your sprite has an error. I'm not sure I understand the problem.

Hey stupok69,

Excellent mod. Working perfectly only our Condition Zero server.

If anyone else is planning to set this up on their cz server you'll find that the co-ordinates of de_aztec and de_aztec_cz differ.

The co-ordinates for de_aztec_cz are:

1536.2 -279 -104/1/0 0 0/ T spawn (exactly)
-2535 1159.8 -165/2/0 270 0/ CT spawn (approximate)
-896.5 -1175 -96/3/0 180 0/ Bombsite A (approximate)

If anyone knows the co-ordinates for de_dust_cz and de_dust2_cz I'd be much obliged.

The sizes of the advertisements also differ between cz and cs. For example the advertisement at bombsite B in de_aztec_cz; the 200x200 pixel model is too big while the 160x160 is too small.

Is there any change someone could create a blank 180x180? I'm guessing this is the actual size.

Cheers,
Rien

I'm not sure but i guess you forgot to close a file in find_line_with_string function, see the line i've added :

Code:
public find_line_with_string(file[], find_this[], len) {     new buffer[256]     new f1 = fopen(file, "r")     new i = 0         while(!feof(f1))     {         fgets(f1, buffer, len)         if(equal(buffer, find_this, len))         {             fclose(f1)             return i         }         i++     }     fclose(f1)     return -1 }
