No, it should just be a clear sign... bring a gun to defend yourself :-)
If people stopped going to every place there was something bad done (shootings/rape/murder/burglary), my God we'd have nowhere to go!
These incidents are more than sickening. I don't blame video games or the compulsive portrayal of violence in the media; I blame what the Lawyers of the world like blaming, "Precedents." Let me explain; I won't define the word as google can do that, but essentially I think Columbine, the first very publicized school shooting of the recent era really began the domino effect. However, continuing this downfall of society is a myriad of issues from the Economy (apparently a Crash is expected soon; it has been speculated), degradation of media coverage as it tends to aim for the more depressing news stories and less of the uplifting, the War (which directly relates to the economy), the upcoming Election and of course the omnipresent mass media coverage of school shootings. It would really be much smarter to try to confine the knowledge of school shootings as the precedence it leaves on disgruntled students/depressed students is "If you don't want to get in trouble and you are angry at people and want to eliminate them, kill them then kill yourself so consequences will not follow"... while on Earth, but who knows what happens after life on Earth? (not intended at making any religious debacles out of this) But that seems to be the general idea; students get fed up with whatever (low test scores, getting dumped, losing a video game (sad but a truth as it can be the fire on the kerosene), losing a relative, failing a class, etc... Then they want to kill others perhaps and of course themselves which leaves many innocent lives eliminated and "a guilty conscience erased from the confines of physical determination."
