Wait, you only need 1000 bits/second; man I never knew I could run a 32-slot server on 1 kilobit/second line. I think we're getting a Pong server confused with Counter-strike :-)

Only teasing. On a more serious note, you will need somewhere in the realm of 1 megabit/second upload not download if not more to run a 32-slot server at full capacity with some extras like models/sounds/sprites.

I'm going to assume that you are gonna try to run this server in your home or another place where it won't get a dedicated line of speed. So I want you to try to get a 1.5mb/s or 2mb/s upload at the minimum because you don't want it to slow down when someone else logs onto youtube and begins uploading a video ;)
