For those who doesn't wanna read:
- The human eye has been successfully been able to see a flashing image at the rate of 220 fps.
- The human eye does not have any proven limit at all.
- The human eye can't be measured in fps since it doesn't draw frames like a display does.

And you don't want X fps for cosmetic reasons, you want it for stability. ( Unless it's lower than, for example, 50. )

Thanks for the information, I will probably keep it around 100, this way if I get smoked a lot it is still a good 50-60 =)

when i put developer mode on i can set my fps to 500 and it stays there constant.. but anything over 100 feels really wierd for me, like it seems smoother but less responsive
