If you don't know what's linux, a package, a shell, a daemon, ... Close the window. You have to know a little bit about programming too ( open ffachmp.py to see how everything works ...) else close the window too.

I'm very sorry to say that, but if you ask this question ... I doubt that you'll arrive to install everything ... but ... let's try ...

First, you need a server (not only a web host) with :
web server with php4 support and a mysql database (5.0).

You just have to install ffac_website.zip like every other website site and run all mysql script db.zip.


Next step, install python2.4 and mysql-db module, open (py_script.zip) all .py file and configure all parameters ... then run all the scripts ...


Download the server side plugin and replace the ffac_master_server address with the ip of your ffac server ... and the main part should work ...


If you want the bot support, install php-cli to your server ( that allows to "run php as a program") configure and run all bots scripts ...

alright! thank you for all the info. I just made a linux server (i`m a linux n00b btw, reinstalled it for like 10+ times under 1 week) i`m gonna try to do all that since I've learned a bit linux for now, anyway the main question intention was to find out if I need to install that in HLDS or not.
