1. I found out why the server would crash:
If the map has no predefined spawn points (from csdm) the map will crash after the next round start (but before the next respawn). So for example , if you want to play from Halo ported map, you cannot do it.
iNo matter what you do, even if you set hm_csdmspawns 0.
The crash will occur no matter which game mode you are running!
2. If you turn ON Halo_mode 5 you will get a massive spam in the console:
AND: That's the reason why the server will lag! (see previous user posts)
3. If you turn OFF the Capture the flag mode, the flag will stay in the game - but will have no effect.
4. putting Halo_mode (1/2/3/4/5) into amx.cfg or a map.cfg won't trigger the mode you want. You will have to put the command manually in after server start.
Minor bugs:
The cvar for juggernaut mode is given as:
halo_jugger: this cvar has no effect - It doesn't even exist.
halo_jugg 0/1 is the real cvar.
In Capture the flag mode the HUD TEXT FOR CT is as good as transparent and is absolutely unreadable.flyeni6

ok for number 1, it never crashed on me. (im using the latests versions of amxx, csdm, and i am running CZ)
now for number 2. yes i have recived all those console msgs and i will try to fix it. lol
for number 3 i will test in 3 hours because i will be gone =[
k number 4. i will test in 3 hours because i will be gone =[
and yea i dont know about the last one. yes i did do it manually but like this:
halo_mode 1 for salyer
halo_mode 2 for team slayer
halo_mode 3 and so on and so on.
yea i plan on having the cvars loaded through a .cfg like for example "halomod.cfg"
and I plan to have a new feature : and the end of the game players can vote for which game mode they want.
