Is it possible to UNprecache the terrorist models? The mod I'm working on doesn't allow the terrorist team and I would like to free some precache space because some maps are crashing the server due to the 512 limit.

I searched and found this thread...
http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthr...ght=unprecache

... but is that for map models only?

EDIT:
I think I'm pretty stupid.

I could just use FM_PrecacheModel and block it from ever precaching there, right?

EDIT 2: I tried the FM_PrecacheModel and it didn't work.

No, once a model is precached, that's it. It's precached. As far as I know you can't stop base resources from precaching.

You can avoid to precache weapon models with FM_PrecacheModel, so it should be possible to do the same thing with player model.

How are you doing it? Are you returning "FMRES_SUPERCEDE"?
I use this and works just fine.

Code:
if(equali(szModel,"models/player/gordon/gordon.mdl")) {     forward_return(FMV_STRING,"models/pellet.mdl");     return FMRES_SUPERCEDE }
Just change "pellet.mdl" to something that's already precached.

It returns the string of a model that is already precached.
