yes i have . im actually gonna use it on my server. but as a built in feature for sourcemod , id like to see a bot menu set as a standard . ever person that has a server has a use for easy to control bots . so im not sure why it has never been in the menu before .

is the built in menu gonna be editable like sm_super_menu ? would be nice though since it would add alot of compatibility with other soucemod plugins being able to edit the menu so u dont have to write all the commands everytime

It's important for an UI to be easy to use. I'd say, have dedicated next/back/exit buttons, and selecting an item stays at the current level. I'd take it further by adding cvars to select different behavior, for instance if you wanted selecting an item to close the menu. I agree that one size doesn't always fit all though... for instance, server settings probably shouldn't close (or even apply) just after selecting something.

Is there a way to make the ESC menu take number keypresses on buttons? Then you could have a nicer window UI for changing server settings, and then keep the in-game UI pared down for quick tasks like kicking, muting chat/voice on specific players, and so on.

Also, in the spirit of SM, you should add an API where plugins can add menus/menu items, and leave the option to have them either be placed automatically by the plugin, or manually by a config file.

Just wondering if it could be set-up like this ?

First level:
1. Player Commands
0. Exit

Second level:
1. Kick Player
0. Back

Third level:
1. Player X
2. Player Y
3. Player Z
0. Back
