hey all,i would like to start coding a plugin loading cvars & stuff from mysql so like server.cfg wouldnt be needed anymore...
I've looked through the forums can't find anything like it...

Any Code Snippets?PLugins?anything?

I believe he wants just a server.cfg -> sql version. This I am working on. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. Soooo...as well I want to make it just basic version where you can add in your own variables. And change them as well. So I'll work on it today at work and test it tomorow night as Im busy tonight.

Yeah i did that too ... looked at old AMX plugins to understand how to read from mysql...so what i did is a plugin that reads CVARS from mysql...

But what i would really need is a bit of code to show me how to write to mysql..

Zor, what freecode posted is exactly it
You can disable all the stuff like loading plugins, modules, etc by changing a cvar

The only different thing I would see is if he didn't want to use the web interface.. in which case you would have to create plugin functions to do that stuff

Yeah thats the plan. I think he just wants a basic cvar plugin. Which is easy, but for the time!
