You shouldn't change default access. Normal users should always have z, which means common user (no admin). admin should not have z.
Does this make any sense? Z seems to me redundant this way. It's like define a new name for nothing. With this, you can't just use get_user_flags to differentiate between admins and users, like I did in my plugins. What's the point of accesslevel "z"?

Oh come on now, it's been like that as long as I've been into AMX (about a year), why go changing? Some plugins use this to differentiate admins vs users.

Yeah I'm about a year to amx too. And it was not me who changed the option to set amx_default_access to "". So I just ask what the meaning of this is. When you tell me, it's beause of tradition it's okay to me. I just wanted to know why.

z is for non-admins so plugins can easily detect normal users
y is for every admin so plugins can register commands for admins (like amx_who)
