I forgot to update everyone as to how I fixed it. It was all a simple BIOS voltage setting for memory. My KN9 SLI motherboard defaulted to 1.8 volts but my RAM required 2.1 volts so it generated the checksum error and did not work after restart. Now I am left wondering what I can do to speed up my computer without the stupid downfalls of overclocking. Overclocking is stupid because it voids all warranties, damages components slightly even when "properly protected" with other cooling equipment, and drastically reduces the lifespan of the component.
