I searched a lot n read a topic "Running a Lag free Server"
but based on those formulas the rates i kept giving lags somwtimes less n big1's at times..

then sum1 recommened these, i tried n there ws almost no lag

He needs more RAM...

He has:
512 DDr2 Ram 533 Mhz
Intel Onboard GMA 3000 (128mb)


Which means he actually has 384MB RAM due to his integrated graphics card (Shared Memory). And because he isn't using HLDS.

Oh and having a better internet connection would help more.

I run my server with less RAM and it's fine with 8 or 9 people on it.

dude read my first post, it says im running a HLDS
i knw i shd increase my bandwidth but changing ISP isnt possible right nw..

shd i increase my maxrate n updaterate 2 remove d lag im getting with amx, cuz without it its almost lag free

HLDS means you are not running it through Steam, but using hldsupdatetool.exe
