I ask because all is different - title on main page, logo picture; domain name; source tarbolls, etc

I select amxmodx

2. About version number

MetamodX 1.17X3 - is a bad name+version string
and
metamod_i386.so.gz - bad name for source tarboll

Can you rename this things ?!

Please help me, I need this for write right Gentoo ebuilds ;)

The official shortname is "amxmodx". amxx is an abbreviation we use so we don't have to type a lot ;]

MetamodX is not an official package, thatis why the X is there.
You can use this for a version: MetamodX 1.17.3

metamod_i386.so.gz is not a tarball, it is a gunzip binary.
If you are doing ebuilds from source, be careful, because you have to use HLSDK files which technically you cannot redistribute.

AMX Mod X is not a shortname that works with Linux, because as a file it becomes:
AMX\ Mod\ X

for an ebuild, you would do this:
emerge amxmodx
and it would install it on your system
