Have you ever heard of this language?
Code:
Hello World!
The following program prints "Hello World!" and a newline to the screen:
++++++++++
[>+++++++>++++++++++>+++>+<<<<-] The initial loop to set up useful values in the array
>++. Print 'H'
>+. Print 'e'
+++++++. Print 'l'
. Print 'l'
+++. Print 'o'
>++. Print ' '
<<+++++++++++++++. Print 'W'
>. Print 'o'
+++. Print 'r'
------. Print 'l'
--------. Print 'd'
>+. Print '!'
>. Print newline
For readability, this code has been spread across many lines and comments have been added.
Brainfuck treats all characters but +-<>[],. as comments so no special syntax for a comment is needed.
The code could just as well have been written as:
++++++++++[>+++++++>++++++++++>+++>+<<<<-]>++.>+.+++++++..+++.>++.<<+++++++++++++++.>.+++.------.--------.>+.>.
