Whats the difference between client_death and registering the event death?

Why use one and not the other?

Thanks

I know client_death doesn't catch the command "kill". I think I read somewhere that it doesn't catch death by world spawn but I never tested it. I always used the event "DeathMsg" myself.

Add to your server. Die by every method you can imagine. Review the log, "_deathByDesign.log".

For CS:

Main difference is that DeathMsg doesn't catch C4 death and client_death() doesn't catch worldspawn death. Also for trigger_hurt death client_death() reports killer == victim.

And actually client_death() does catch "kill" cmd death.
