i was wondering if you could assign certain sounds for higher ranked admins or assign specifically by using a cfg file

right now it is not possible
adding a second config file would be too much work
and adding it to the current system could break many configs ( need to check it more in detail ) so i am not sure if it will be added

For example, admins with flag a(immunity flag) can play everything while other admins can play a few.

Would that be too much?

Karlos,

nice plugin running very well.I was wondering if you had any idea's a friend of mine runs a kid friendly server with lots and lots of sounds probably around +800 sounds.

Now on inferno he get's the usual 512 precache limit error.Would there be a way to avoid that by splitting up the config and loading multiple configs?

not multiple files but using available config options will help

readme.txt:
use the "package" option and split your list in several packages
all files will be available to use BUT only those people who got the files will here them
so every map change a new package will be loaded for download but all packages are available for use

Well the issue is i don't even let them download the sounds. That's why i don't get why i even get that much issue with the precache limit....lol yeah this isn't my first time with that error .

Euhm so yeah i always thought that the precache thing was only in effect when for example you got to much downloads for sounds on a map or models or anything like that and that the engine couldn't handle that much precache because it was just to much.

Or did i mistaken it.
Is precaching just the loading in from evrything needed for that map? in this case only 800+ sounds :p.

Doubt the packages would help me with this since i don't force download.

Anyways would it maybe help or solve things just by adding you plugin behind admin.amxx in the plugins.ini?

Thanks for you helping me btw.

I was just wondering about the snd_list.cfg... It has multiple wavs on the same word... Does it work like that? I mean like play different ones each time someone types that word...
