There's another way around it:

Code:
client_cmd(id,";alias plugin_alias ^"snapshot;say Snapshot taken^"") client_cmd(id,"plugin_alias")

Is the semicolon before "alias" necessary or is it a typo?

It's really necessary.

Thats how you separate commands.

In that case, why is there no semicolon before the command "plugin_alias" in Hawk's second line of code?

I know the semicolon is used in between commands to separate them, but why is it necessary to place a semicolon before the alias command?

First, the cmd "plugin_alias" isn't blocked.

Second, Probably the "alias" block is hardcoded, meaning it will check for message[0-4] if it is "alias" but if you put a semicolon before that
message[0-4] becomes ";alia", meaning it would not be blocked.

I don't know if this is true though, cuz I don't know how to see HLSDK.
If this is true, it's an extremely bad way to block "alias".

I do know that using the semicolon was a way to get around the protection when the "alias" block first came out, but it may have been fixed by now. Probably not, but it may have been. Your guess is right, Black Rose.
