can you add force team cvar to this? To make spectators join a team.

Im running a gungame in csdm. A Player joins and spectats to see how its played but cant join in after spectating. they have to leave then come back.

If it had force team. I could allow them to spectat long enogh to see how its played. Then it would force them to a team. So they dont have to ever leave the server to join in.

Maybe add if your playing and then spec it would kick but, not when first joining. (if it can be done grate! if not thats fine.)

I'm sorry but I will not be adding an option to force players to join a team after spectating for x minutes. This is because the point of this plugin is to kick people not move them. If the scope of the plugin ever changes, I'll reconsider adding your request.

This plugin seems to be working perfectly for me, only minor bug that I've noticed is it warns me that I will be kicked, however it never actually kicks me so its not a big deal. Anyways gj

HellKatzX... It functions that way on purpose. Perhaps in the next version I'll make it more apparent during the countdown that the player with immunity won't actually be kicked.

On my GunGame server all (!) the players get kicked after the time specified by pbk_join_time.
This is weird, because the players have to join the team (and they did).

On my CSDM server the plugin works.

Sorry Brad, I overlooked this post.
The background is: If you run a couple of servers, sometimes you want to push a lowfrequented server. The hope is: after the player got redirected he comes back and may learn to enjoy playing on the "new" server. It's some kind of marketing for the own server farm.
Another sight is: Better pull in the player on a lowfreq server as just kicking him.


Regarding my question one post earlier: I learned from Avalanche that PBK uses an engine function (client_PostThink) but the engine module isn't included.

Manually adding this module fixes the problem (even necessaryn on newer versions of AMXX).

Brad,

you should add a function to check if a player spawned after x seconds he selected a team.

It is possible to select a team (only the team, not a model!) to don't get kicked for spectating and/or being afk.

Actually, you should get kicked if you don't choose a model. I specifically coded it that way. If you don't choose a team and a model within the pbk_join_time, you should be kicked. Are you saying that players are not being kicked in this situation?
