burnzy, believe me, its a problem with the userid.

i thoroughly tested it. only the player with userid #1 can plant them.
he can quit cs and join again with a different userid and still can plant them.

im definately no pro-scripter but dont u have to set maxplayers in the script to 33?. im sure it was something like this, there was another plugin with exactly the same symptoms. unfortunately i can neither remember which plugin it was nor how they solved the problem exactly. but they had to change maxplayers(in the sma, not the server var.) to 33
except that they had to changed something else to.

Please do not double post, use the edit button instead.

Your problem is undertsood loud and clear. Only user id 1 can use mines correct? ok, good.

I wrote this plugin in a very short time span and I wouldn't be suprised that it is not working 100%, I never expected it to work on every mod available at this point.

What I can tell you is that it was written for/useing CS:CZ and so far works flawlessy on it, your bug (if it is one) is comepletily understandable given that fact no?

I have no server anymore and it has been ages since I have, so I am not testing a plugin I have made in a matter of days on a full multiplayer CS server.
If you want to donate your time and set up a server for testing then I would be more than happy to get that bug sorted for you, but without players and a server it is not too likely any time soon.


[edit] A little clarity would help the situation considerably too.
I think i remember amongst the many posts of id1 and such, that someone mentioned +tmine not working after useing an admin mine or something.....

Anyways, a test that concludes that "it wasnt my fault" and "+cmd's" work fine because you have amxx_mines and they have a command with "+" in it... is not a conclusive test and I am not sure what if anything that really tests.

Can someone start giveing me some sort of info if they want this fixed?
What happens when you try "+tmine"? What does it say in console if anything?
Are there any runtime errors?
Can you succesfully play a game of "pass the mine[id]" with 3 or more players?
Does everything work fine if you ONLY use admin mines or ONLY +tmine.... or.....
Anything usefull could possibly help

I can say it works fine on a TFC linux server, but TBH I have not used the +tmine command as yet, only the admin_tripmine.

Anyway I was about to ask if it would be possible to extend the pluggins capability, and make it so that a SPY [I'm using it on TFC servers] could deactivate the mine by using the 'USE' key on it for a second or so? a bit like the way you defuse in Deux Ex.

This would make it a perfect pluggin for TFC, as long as the mine limits are low [IE 2max] which you can set with the cvar.

Hope this is possible?

Just tested the +tmine and unfortunately it does not work

If you ever get round to making it TFC compliant, would be greatly appreciated

Fine as is for some admin abuse though....

if you kill someone with the tripmine does it get logged right for psychostats, and does it give you a kill in the scoreboard as of yet? I remember reading that it does not?
