ZombieMod v2.0

Description
This is a very simple bot-adder for TS. You can customize the bots' speed and health. You can also join the bots' team and play as a Zombie. Zombies are not allowed to use weapons.

Instructions
1. For dedicated servers, download the attached mp.dll. Add the modified mp.dll to your dlls folder. Make sure that you backup the original.

2. You're finished, now install and run the plugin.
The plugin will automagically edit your server.cfg and game.cfg to work with ZombieMod. Feel free to change mp_teammodels, but do not change mp_teamlist.
3. I suggest using Metamod-P instead of Metamod to prevent frequent crashes. http://metamod-p.sourceforge.net/
CVARS
Feel free to add these to your server.cfg with your preferences.

zm_notify
Display messages to clients when health/speed is changed. 0 = no, 1 = yes
zm_zombies
Number of zombies in the server.
zm_zombiehp
Amount of health zombies will have.
zm_lights
How bright do you want the map to be?
Values range from 0 to 26. 0 = pitch black, 26 = regular
zm_clientzombies
Allows clients to join the Zombies team. 0 = no, 1 = yes
zm_clientzombiehp
Amount of health clients on the Zombies team will have.
zm_zombiespeed
The zombies' movement speed. 330.0 = normal
zm_knockback
The amount zombies will fly back when you shoot them. Shotguns are much more powerful than regular guns. 0 = off

Ideas for the future
I'd be glad to hear about any additions you think should be in this plugin. I have a few ideas of my own and when I have time I'll add them in.
  • Zombies only die by headshot
  • Zombies move progressively slower upon taking damage (not just head)
  • Your idea goes here.

Fluffy Could you post the models if there is like a Zombie.mdl or somthing...... And I play ts to i havent been to your zombie server but i went to your tsrp server when it was up.

I never ran any kind of roleplay server on The Specialists.

maybe you should put that in your plugin submit post and dont make it so big.

I wish I had Smokey485's plugins... I just played on his server and it is way more advanced than mine. No comparison...

I'd immediately discontinue this ZombieMod if he released his version.

EDIT: As of 11/6/2006 I would not discontinue this mod if he released his version. I like mine better.

Meh Smokey has alot of great plugins but I bet you could make it like His.And also Well You could try and looking in a weaponrestriction plugin to make Zombies not have guns.

I cannot get this to work. I use the Cvar addzombies and nothing happens. When I change the models, the server restarts but the zombies don't get added.
Any specific AMXX I should be using?
