You're still adding a lot of complexity for data that's not relevant. You don't need to know about their past performance to effectively balance the teams.

Full ACK. Basically I think the algorithm PTBx is based on works pretty well and allows further individual adjustments via cvars. Team balancing upon historical data can't beat that at all. Just think of new players with short track records or rotational stats resets common to many public server (although not necessary with HLstatsX).

I think XAD is dead, or on vacation. He hasn't been on in over a month

I installed PTBX on a CS:S-BETA-Server (dynamic weapon prices) and have running it, but it is not able to swap players. perhaps somebody could have a little look for it.

Sad, that XAD is not here .....

Can it swap players the "kill player" method, or does the transparent method not work? And if it doesn't, what operating system?

Debian 3.1 and ..... I didn't try it, sorry.

It is very complicated, to install plugins for the beta. SourceMM and Mani go into the cstrike_beta/addons folder and ptbx (valve-plugin) goes into the cstrike/addons folder.

I will check it tomorrow, okay ?

It seems, that it didn't change anyway. Nor living, neither dead people. But the plugin is running and gives information about who to change ....

ill

What? The non-transparent method does not work?

I have:

// switch dead only (0:no, 1nly, 2:dead first)
ptb deadonly 2

The plugin announces, that player xyz - who is actually dead - will be switched, but it didn't happen.
