the tripmines dont work on my server (the admin_tripmine does work though)

all it does is display the progress-bar but there wont be a tripmine spawned.
same for admins and regular players.

can some1 help pls

this is for cs/cz only. It has only been tested on that. And it shall only work for that.

yes, i know.
but i have a regular cs server.
admin_tripmine works fine.
+tmine doesnt. the progress-bar counts up to 100% but there wont be a tripmine spawned.

should i also say this doesnt work for cs 1.5

this only works for steam. WON IS DEAD. I dont think it would work since u need the module which comes in cs 1.6 (accually hl)

i have a regular steam CS 1.6 not-won linux server.
(amx,admin and metamod are uptodate)

i never said that i would use a won-server

again:
admin_tripmine works as it is supposed to.
when i press/hold the key i bound to +tmine the progress-bar appears and counts up to 100% but except that nothing happens. thats the problem

i did not change anything in the sma-file. it compiled without any errors/warnings.

any help is appreciated

lol might be the same as my problem.......
try giving it more testing.....
the first few times i tried/ got my clients to try "+tmine" and it worked.
but as i sed when i used admin_tripmine funy things started to happen, now only admins can use "+tmine" it seems......
but im not saying these are particular bugs......
im saying im am giving it more testing to pinpoint it for us.

I have no idea what you mean by, can you make it brighter than it is.....
I have explained before and I will again that within the code is a line
[ write_byte() ]
and whatever you put in the () is the strength of the beam. It was 20, now it is a cvar.
Whatever you change the cvar to is the brightness of the beam.
200 is dark as hell, 20 is barely noticable.... pick somewhere inbetween or even brighter if you like. Hell, find the right line and change the laser to green for all I care It's not too hard to find the thickness value of the beam either, then you can make it fat as hell... switch it to green... increase the brightness to an eye blistering 300 and then you will have a 3-foot radius laser beam that is flourescent green


Frags still sound pretty dumb to me

I have stated numerous times to you that I WILL make this work for TS if it is really wanted that badly.
No I will not play TS just because someone else does and likes a plugin I wrote, but so long as you test it and get involved I will be more than happy to make the thing work for TS... it wont take long at all.

again, "you may aswell find something from TS that actually looks good"... (that means go play TS and find something that provides a countdown type service which you find suiting for a planting timer for tripmines. Find out what plugin it is or what the source of this timer is and I will try to duplicate it for you)

ionno wtf u did... u may have ur includes fucked... Just take the .amx from the site. "Get Plugin"

It works perfect. Maybe ur cvars are fucked or sumthing...

ok guys i did some testing and it looks like that only the person with the userid 1 can plant the tripmines.
however if the userid changes due to a reconnect for example he/she is still able to plant them.
